The Markhole Allotment Association
The Markhole Allotment Association brings together all the plotholders at Hatherop Road Allotments as a community and provides:
- Wheelbarrows & trolleys for members’ use
- Manure deliveries (available for a small fee)
- Wood chip deliveries (free to plot holders)
- Communal area maintenance including main paths and car park
- Social events so plot holders can meet each other
- A plot holder mentoring scheme to help if you need it
- Security lighting and other security measures on site
- A toilet on site (closed in winter during frost season)
- A small selection of hand tools that can be borrowed
- Strimmers and rotavators for member use (small charge for petrol for rotavators)
- Regular newsletters about activities at the allotments — contributions from members welcome
- Lettings management on behalf of the Council
- Representation of members to the Council and at BRAG meetings (Borough of Richmond Allotment Group)

Membership fees
Membership fees (£10) are due in January each year. Please pay by bank transfer, using your name and plot number as the reference:
